Views is the fourth studio album by Canadian rapper Drake. It was released on April 29, 2016, by Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Republic Records. Recording sessions took place between 2014 and 2016, with the production that was primarily handled by his longtime and frequent collaborator 40, alongside with each of these several producers, including Nineteen85, Maneesh Bidaye, Kanye West and Jordan Ullman, among others. The album was supported by the five singles: "Hotline Bling", "One Dance" featuring Wizkid and Kyla, "Pop Style" featuring The Throne, "Controlla" and "Too Good" featuring Rihanna.
Views was met with lukewarm reviews from critics, many of whom found it to be an overlong retread of Drake's previous work. Despite mixed reviews, Views received two Grammy Award nominations (Album of the Year and Best Rap Album). Views was also a massive commercial success, remaining at number one on the US Billboard 200 for 13 non-consecutive weeks. "One Dance" became Drake's first Billboard Hot 100 number-one single as a lead artist, spending 10 weeks at number one. As of August 2016, the album has sold 1.4 million copies in the United States. Views became the first album to accumulate one-billion streams on Apple Music. On December 1, 2016 Views was certified 4× platinum. Views received Grammy Award nominations for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album, while "Hotline Bling" received the nominations for Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Performance and "Pop Style" for Best Rap Performance.
